Description
Southview Animal Hospital is seeking a General Practice Veterinarian to join one of the largest and most medically progressive small animal hospitals in Minnesota.
Southview offers a level of collaboration, case variety, medical support, and continuity of care that is difficult to find in traditional general practice. Our hospital is intentionally built to support patients throughout the full life of a pet, extending beyond routine wellness and preventive care with urgent care, advanced diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, 24-hour hospitalization support, and access to visiting specialists.
Why Doctors Choose Southview
Southview gives doctors the opportunity to build trusted, long-term client relationships while remaining closely involved as patients’ needs become more complex. With advanced diagnostics, experienced in-house colleagues, strong technical support, and specialists available for timely collaboration, our doctors are often able to diagnose, treat, and move cases forward efficiently while preserving continuity of care for the client and patient.
This is an ideal environment for a veterinarian who values relationship-driven general practice, enjoys medical variety, and wants the ability to practice high-quality medicine with strong hospital support.
What You’ll Have Access To
At Southview, doctors have access to:
General practice, urgent care, or a blend of both
Surgery and dentistry in large, newly remodeled suites

Visiting specialist support, including cardiology, radiology, soft tissue surgery, and orthopedic surgery
24-hour hospitalization support to promote continuity of patient care

A strong, experienced technician and support team
Mentorship and development support both in-hospital and through NVA resources
Southview is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian seeking variety, support, growth, and high-quality medicine without losing the relationship-centered foundation of general practice.
