Tacoma Equine Hospital has been serving Western Washington's equine community for over 50 years and is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our collaborative five-doctor team. Whether your passion is sports medicine, internal medicine, or reproduction, you'll have the support, equipment, and caseload to grow your skills while enjoying a schedule designed with work-life balance in mind.
What You'll Enjoy
- Four- or five-day work week
- Appointments scheduled Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Shared emergency rotation
- Dedicated veterinary assistant (1:1 doctor-to-assistant ratio)
- Company vehicle with fully stocked veterinary box
- Collaborative team that enjoys practicing great medicine together
Well-Equipped Practice
Our ambulatory and in-clinic practice offers a robust line of services including:
- Preventative care & dentistry
- Sports medicine, chiropractic and acupuncture
- Reproduction
- Elective field surgery
- Internal medicine
- 24/7 emergency services
This diverse caseload is supported by:
- Digital radiography, ultrasound, and video endoscopy (3.5 and 1.5 m)
- PowerFloat dentistry
- PulseVet shockwave, PRP, IRAP, and Pro-Stride therapies
- Cloud-based ezyVet software
- Dedicated front office staff

Compensation & Benefits
- The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year. The final compensation offered may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, and internal equity considerations.
- Emergency fees paid to associate.
- Production bonus-eligible based on collections and eligibility criteria.
