Founded in 1999 by our CEO, Dr. Thomas Bankstahl, Parkway Small Animal and Exotic Hospital has become a cornerstone of the metro Detroit community.

In addition to being a premier clinic for cats and dogs, Parkway is one of Michigan's largest exotic animal hospitals, proudly serving over 7,000 active exotic patients.

With 10 exam rooms, over 9,000 square feet of space, a dedicated boarding, grooming, and daycare facility, and a team of 7 doctors supported by a talented and compassionate staff, we deliver exceptional care to every patient. Our hospital is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including ultrasound, digital X-ray, class II and IV lasers, an in-house lab, echocardiogram, and a state-of-the-art CT scanner!

Benefits

We offer a competitive benefit packaged tailored to each individual team member! Our doctors enjoy custom compensation plans that can include high base salaries, production with no negative accrual, bonuses, and more!

For an overnight ER doctor our plan can include,

Base salary of $180,000-$215,000 (options with production are also available!)
Signing bonus of up to $40,000
120 hours of PTO (unpaid options available after PTO is used, as well!)
Health insurance options with 4- plans to choose from
Dental and vision options
401(k) with matching!
Generous CE allotment (time used for CE conferences does not count towards PTO!)
A gym membership!
$200 uniform allotment
