AAHA  small animal practice (canine/feline) in affluent coastal south Florida community looking for a 3rd full time doctor.  We build long term relationships with our clients and patients in the old fashioned James Herriot model---without the emergency calls!  The practice is 5 minutes away from lovely beaches and aqua blue waters.  We can see the Jupiter Lighthouse from our pharmacy window.

It's a cushy 4 day work week.  We give 30 to 45 min appointment times. We rotate through half day (9-1) Saturdays every 3rd Saturday.  During season (Jan-April) you might leave around til 6pm, but most of the year the clinic is a ghost town at 5pm unless you need to write up your charts.  You will see patients 9-5 on weekdays and 9-1 every 3rd Saturday.  You will get one month PTO each year.

Competitive base pay (130K) plus commission.  Our amazing support staff mostly worked at specialty hospitals before coming to TVC.  You get to be a doctor.  It's rare that you would ever take xrays or draw blood or set iv catheters.  You get to chat with clients and write your charts.  It is a smooth running drama free clinic with a family atmosphere.  You will be treated with kindness and respect in a positive environment.  Grouchy people need not apply.

We have digital X-ray and digital dental X-ray, a fancy Phillips ultrasound, the full IDEXX suite of lab machines, Cutting Edge class 4 therapy laser, slit lamp and other quality equipment, amazing veterinary nurses, and an even more amazing clientele.  We strive to have top notch staff and equipment to keep practice fun and interesting.  We run a lot of wellness lab work to keep our patients healthy and catch issues early while they are still treatable.   Since most of our nursing staff have worked at specialty hospitals and as we are in an affluent community, we always offer the best care.  Did we mention our support staff is amazing?

There are 2 emergency clinics within 7 miles, so there is minimal after hours care.  Tequesta, Florida is nestled within Jupiter in the north end of Palm Beach County. We are 5 minutes from glorious Jupiter Island beaches. Our staff is highly experienced, allowing you to focus on doctor responsibilities. Avimark software provides virtually paperless records.  There is seasonal impact as everyone wants to live in the Jupiter area from January through April.  Numerous local specialists make practicing in Tequesta very pleasant.

Owner veterinarian graduated in 1993 and associate doctor since 2007.  We are happy to mentor!

We are a strong dental practice, but we book out so far with dentals that the owner (who currently does the majority of the dental procedures) that yet another doctor with a strong interest in dentistry would be great.  (We love dentistry and have all the best equipment including a Vet Tome.)  The practice owner has achieved the Veterinary Dental Practitioner status through the IVDI program.
