Moab Veterinary Clinic is looking to hire a new associate veterinarian! 

We are looking for someone bright, intelligent, with good work ethic and a love of animals.

We work on both large and small animals and though a mixed animal doctor would be totally awesome, we would love someone who just wants to work with the small animals as well. 

We live in a rural area so we see a little bit of everything, and if we can't figure it out we call someone for help or send them off to the specialists if they are willing to go. 

We have some great equipment available for use at our clinic including ultrasound, dental and regular radiographs, an IM3 dental scaler and polisher, endoscope (rhino, gastric but not equipped for laproscopy or arthroscopy at this point thought we would love to add them in the future). We also have equipment for bone plating. We have in-house blood machines and both therapeutic and surgical lasers. We also have a PEMF machine. 

Being a general practice we perform a variety of soft tissue surgeries including spays, neuters, tumor removals, and bone surgeries. We do general check-ups and vaccinations, as well as take care of sick animals in the area. 

We try to practice a high level of care at a lower cost to our clients and are willing to bring in new ideas and add medications to our repertoire. We want you to be able to practice in a manner that makes you feel comfortable. Feeling like you are lacking in a certain area? If we are knowledgeable in it we will mentor and help you learn what's needed. 

For anyone wanting to come as a mixed animal vet, we travel quite a distance working in both southeastern Utah and southwestern Colorado, so some days do get long. (If needed we can work out a schedule to give the equivalent time off on a different day.) 

The nearest emergency clinic is 2 hours away so we handle our own and take turns being on call. That schedule can be adjusted to work best with all involved.
