The Department of Surgical Sciences at The University of Wisconsin, School of Veterinary Medicine is excited to announce an open position for an Assistant, Associate Professor in Veterinary Anesthesia and Pain Management in either the Clinical Track or Teaching Track. The successful candidate will join the Anesthesia and Pain Management Section, which is comprised of 7 full-time ACVAA Diplomates, 4-5 residents, and a dynamic group of 8-10 certified veterinary technicians (many of whom have VTS-Anesthesia Specialty Certification). The Anesthesia and Pain Management Section is located within UW Veterinary Care which includes newly constructed and renovated, small and large animal, state-of-the-art facilities set to begin opening in the Fall of 2023.
