Our feline practice located in Western New York is seeking another Feline focused, progressive, and enthusiastic associate veterinarian to join our team.
Summer Street Cat Clinic has two locations: Getzville and Buffalo which are 20 minutes apart. Getzville is on the cutting edge with ultrasound and other fun equipment. We have lots of walking trails right outside the hospital and a backyard to relax in. Downtown Buffalo offers a historical vibe having been built in the late 1800’s, although recently renovated. This location is very cozy, efficient and charming. Clients are known to go back and forth between the two as well as our team members, but we are flexible to your needs.
As an associate veterinarian of Summer Street Cat Clinic, you’ll be a part of the only cat hospital in Western New York. We don’t standardize our procedures and come up with a plan for each patient. We have regular staff meetings and enjoy time outside the hospital. Our team feels appreciated. Enjoy a 3–4-day work week, employee discount, annual parties, and a stocked staff lounge. Having many years of experience helping others, mentorship is big focus of ours, so we welcome those who need it. At Summer Street Cat Clinic, you’ll love what you do. We are a well-respected practice who has funded over 1 million dollars to the whole community.
Currently we are a 2 FT and 1 PT veterinarian practice. We’ve been privately running for almost 40 years but recently decided to join National Veterinary Associates, who owns many non-branded hospitals throughout the U.S. and other countries. More than 50% of our employees have been with us for more than 15 years, some even since the beginning (1981). We’ve really tried to cultivate a supportive environment where you can grow and feel appreciated. Our services consist of preventative medicine, behavior consultations, weight management and nutrition, surgery and dentistry. Digital Radiology and Ultrasound. No critical care, on call or boarding.
Buffalo is a great place to live and offers everything you could want including minimum congestion, all four seasons, family friendly, city life, reasonable cost of living, major league sports, boating, skiing, arts, music, theatre, nature and much more!
Competitive benefits and extra incentives available.
Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification. License in good standing to practice in New York state.
