Associate Veterinarian Needed at a Premier AAHA Hospital in Houston

Stuebner Airline Veterinary Hospital is a premier veterinary hospital in North Houston. We are a seven-doctor small animal hospital located in a newly renovated state-of-the-art building. Our approximately 15,000 square feet hospital is home to a large operating room, a separate dental suite with dental radiographs, and a separate radiology and special procedures room. The special procedures room offers ultrasonography and endoscopy. This spacious facility is a draw to veterinarians because it allows for quality medicine with a smooth flow of appointments and procedures throughout the workday. All doctors, including any new hires, have the opportunity for daily surgery. We value team comradery and team culture. This shows as we have veterinarians on staff since the mid-seventies as well as recent graduates to provide a mix of high-quality medicine for our patients and clients. Our doctors use a fear free approach to medicine. The mentorship program for new graduates cultivates confident veterinarians. 

Our hospital specializes in quality veterinary medicine with state of the are equipment:

• Designated surgery suite with 3 tables, laser, and endoscopy (rigid and flexible)
• Designated dental suite with 2 stations
• Both regular and dental digital radiography
• Ultrasonography
• Both hot and cold laser
• Acupuncture
• Complete in-house laboratory capabilities (2 separate stations)
• 12 exam rooms  

Our support staff is second to none, with several employees spending over twenty years with us. Our technician turnover rate is much lower than the profession’s norm because we pay at a level that our employees deserve, and we provide an environment where our folks actually look forward to coming to work. The many LVTs on staff and doctors have a strong trust and welcome training new team members.  Our doctors are constantly saying that we would put our employees up against any other group in the nation; they are incredible.

We are a very busy practice, both with our regular clientele and with referrals from area veterinarians for special procedures and emergencies. We are proud that we have been a fully accredited AAHA hospital since 1970, and a fixture in the community for four decades. We look forward to you joining our team!
