River Oaks Animal Hospital is a energetic, young hospital that is set apart by our unique relationship building with our clients and team members.  We are growing rapidly and are currently looking for a friendly, talented, and passionate veterinarian to add to our team.  We offer 4 day work weeks, NO SATURDAYS, no emergencies, and major holidays off!  Plus we have a staff ration of 2 technicians per each veterinarian. We are focused on improving the client’s experience with enhanced customer service and personalized patient care.  Our caseload is challenging and includes radiology, dental, diagnostics, preventive care, and surgery all performed with top of the line equipment.   This includes digital whole body and dental radiography, IDEXX laboratory equipment, ultrasound, Companion Therapy Laser, Tonovet, and more.  We emphasize quality medicine and do not skimp on the details.   Our next veterinarian must have solid medical knowledge, patient care and communication skills, work efficiently, and have a great sense of humor.  Experience is preferred but a motivated new graduate will be considered.  We provide a flexible benefits package that includes competitive salary, paid time off, monthly bonus opportunity, health insurance, pet insurance, continuing education allowance, allowance for licensing and dues, surgical scrub allowance, retirement plans, AVMA and SCAV association membership, gym membership, and more.   If you need all of these benefits, they are yours but if you don't we can certainly create a package that suits you.  We pay with a prosal pay scale but if you prefer a fixed salary, we can do that too!  All this and you get to live in sunny Myrtle Beach!  Myrtle Beach is in the center of a 60 mile stretch of beach known as “The Grand Strand” in South Carolina.  It is ranked as the second fastest-growing metropolitan area in the country!  Our town is known for excellent outdoor sports such as top golf courses, paddle boarding, surfing, biking, fishing, camping, and kayaking.  Myrtle Beach hosts a variety of special events like the Carolina Country Music Fest.  The area’s attractions include amusement parks, an aquarium, entertainment venues, shopping, and phenomenal restaurants but still maintains that small town feel.  Please give us a call or email your resume. Qualifications:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required

Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of South Carolina

At least two years of experience as a veterinarian is preferred

Ability to work rotating Saturdays

Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning

Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
