WE ARE HIRING! Equine Veterinary Services, a Texas-based equine clinic located 30-miles east of Dallas in Terrell, is hiring a full-time and/or a part-time Associate/Intern Veterinarian for our busy practice. We see a wide-variety of Western and English horses ranging from family pets to world class performance horses. Our busy multi-doctor (3 DVMs) practice was established in 1992. We offer an excellent client base of professional, veteran and new horse owners. Our doctors spend time both in the clinic and on farm calls daily where they have the use of state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.
We have a first-rate support staff in place including a professional office team. We are looking for 2 additional Associates/DVM Interns with interest in all areas of the equine industry and a strong interpersonal skill set. We prefer applicants with 1-3 years equine veterinary experience, although new graduates with solid skills are encouraged to apply for our DVM Internship program. If you are interested in providing high-quality medical services while working hard, having personal time off and learning on a daily basis - send your resume and cover letter to EVS today. Extensive equine experience such as showing or breeding strongly preferred. High integrity is a must. We promote a family-oriented, quality of life practice and offer an above-average salary with extra pay for emergency work plus performance-based bonuses, multi-week PTO, continuing education, malpractice, use of a clinic truck when working, and much more. EVS is a Team oriented environment where solid mentoring is offered. We also welcome a small number of externs each year.
No phone calls, please. Check out our website (EquineVeterinaryServices.com) for more information about our Team. Interested applicants with a current license in the state of Texas (or willingness to get one), please send your interest to Carroll Brown Arnold, EVS HR Hiring Director, @ cbarnold@equineveterinaryservices.com
At EVS we require our doctors to have a current DVM, experience within the equine world of veterinary medicine, high integrity, and a solid set of strong interpersonal skills including excellent communication in person and on the phone.
