North Texas Veterinary Clinic (NTVC) is a small-animal hospital seeking an enthusiastic veterinarian to join our work-family.

NTVC was founded in 2011 by Dr. James Scheifley. Our clinic is located in the heart of Keller, Texas, a growing community in north Fort Worth. Though we are positioned within a large metroplex, we strive to keep a small-town atmosphere in our clinic. We treat everyone like family, and we know clients by name. We have an amazing down-to-earth clientele that believes in quality care for their pets. We have a cohesive team of excellent, hard-working, respectful individuals who have a passion for veterinary medicine and caring for animals. We have a great doctor to technician ratio. We are very selective on the team-members we hire for our hospital, as we take great pride in the way our hospital is managed. We want a positive atmosphere, where all staff members enjoy coming to work each day. We believe every team member should have a willingness-to-serve attitude, where we all strive to make a positive impact on clients, pets, and each other every day.

Our hospital's belief is to provide our patients with the kind of compassion and superior healthcare that we would expect for our own beloved pets. We are looking for a doctor who has this same belief. We aim to keep our costs reasonable, so owners are able to afford quality healthcare for their family members. We also believe our veterinarians should be able to practice medicine in their own individual way, while receiving the support they need! New graduates are welcome and will receive mentorship from our Medical Director and other veterinarians.

In May of 2021, NTVC moved to a beautiful new custom building. Our clinic is fully equipped with Idexx and Abaxis lab equipment, digital radiography, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, K-Laser Therapy, Ellman Radiowave Surgical Unit and separate state-of-the-art surgery and dental suites. Our new clinic offers 6 spacious exam rooms, a coffee bar and a cozy fireplace. We have a semi-paperless design with Cornerstone Software and Idexx Smartflow Veterinary software, which allows us to stay organized while seeing all of our appointments on digital whiteboards. We offer a FLEXIBLE work schedule that is ideal for a work-life balance! Our doctors work 3.5 days per week and only 1 Saturday per month. Our hospital hours are 8am-6pm on weekdays and 8am-noon on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays. No after-hours emergencies. No pet boarding.
