Animal Hospital of Collin County offers its clients top-notch medical, surgical, and dental care as well as a boarding facility ran by animal medical professionals since 1982. Here at Animal Hospital of Collin County, we pride ourselves on our commitment to education and utilizing modern tools and technology to solve modern day cases. Our hospital is equipped with high quality technology that includes Cornerstone practice management software, electronic medical records, a full in-house laboratory suite, CUBEX storage solutions, therapeutic laser, digital x-ray system, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, Hotdog warming systems, Midmark multiparameter touch screen monitors, and much more! Our team consists of passionate individuals who treat each other like family, both inside and outside the practice. What You’ll Be Working On
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
- Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
- Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited school required
- Licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Texas
- Two years of experience preferred, new grads encouraged to apply
- Experience working with anesthesia and general surgeries required
- Experience and/or interest in working dental, internal medical, and emergency cases preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt and be flexible
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a passion for mentoring and working with others
