Pittsfield, MA is located in the scenic Berkshires – home of Tanglewood, Hancock Shaker Village, and more. This area is beautiful any time of the year with hiking and boating on the water in the warm months and skiing in the winter months. There are also numerous restaurants and shops in the nearby areas! Working as a Veterinarian for us means complete autonomy in your medicine, a true rarity in the veterinary industry.
We believe in your education and feel passionate about supporting you in utilizing the skills acquired in your rigorous training. Use your skills to meet medical standards – not dictated by anyone else. There are new advancements in medicine and treatment every day, and we highly encourage our doctors to stay up-to-date on progressions in medicine so that they are continually growing and learning with us. You will be provided a generous Continuing Education allowance to explore emerging programs you are interested in, such as laser therapy, acupuncture, and programs for advancing dental and surgical skills. In addition, we offer three additional medical days per year to use for Continuing Education programs.
Teamwork is everything to us, which is why you will have complete access to our growing network of licensed professionals at our practices throughout the Northeast. Our goal is for the Licensed Veterinarian to cultivate a professional, positive working environment with ample mentorship opportunities for staff, in addition to a warm, welcoming environment for pets and their owners. Above everything else, the best person for this job is a team player with a willingness to learn and adapt. In our industry, no day is the same and being ready to jump in to assist other team members in the veterinary setting is crucial.
