We are seeking an associate veterinarian interested in joining our team of collaborative professionals. Individuals with prior practice experience in exotic animal medicine and surgery desired. Must work well in a team-based practice setting, possess strong skills in client education, and ascribe to high-quality standards of veterinary care.
Lone Mountain Animal Hospital has been serving Las Vegas’ pet needs since 1987. Our team is passionate about caring for all species and their individualized needs. Our practice sees an 80% canine/feline and 20% exotic caseload. We provide a wide range of services for our clients, local dog/cat shelters, local exotic animal rescue groups, casinos, exotic collections, as well as wildlife cases. If you like variety, problem-solving and working in a friendly, family atmosphere, then Lone Mountain Animal Hospital is for you.
Our facility is AAHA certified and equipped with Abaxis in-house laboratory, Istat, CO2 surgical laser, Companion therapeutic laser, Storz exotic endoscopy unit, small animal ventilator, paperless computer system, all digital x-ray and GE ultrasound.
Our hospital embraces mentorship each and every day as we guide and assist professional development for our new veterinary associates and veterinary technicians. Continuing education both in-house and through formal conferences and wet-labs is important. Our externship program helps support future veterinary professionals and is popular with both veterinary students and veterinary technician students.
