Plantation Animal Hospital is seeking a motivated Associate Veterinarian who is looking to expand their skillset in an engaging and positive environment.

We are a 3 doctor, small animal veterinary practice in the Carrollwood area of Tampa. We have been a staple in the community for over 30 years. We are a thriving practice that strives on preventative care, client education, and pet wellness. We have a family like atmosphere focused on positivity, growth, and quality of care.  We are seeking an energetic, dynamic veterinarian that is passionate about medicine and the human/animal bond. We desire someone who enjoys engaging clients and staff, while exhibiting strong leadership skills.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Any years of experience 
• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
• The ability to delegate responsibility and achieve results with hospital team members
• Capable of quality decision making
• The ability to coach, correct, develop, and motivate employees
• Demonstrates excellent time and task management
• Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients
