VCA Companion Animal Hospital located in Redding, California is looking for an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.

We are a unique, busy, small animal hospital that forms long terms bonds with loyal clientele, and offers a variety of services including digital radiographs, ultrasound, general surgeries and advanced dentistry, as well as focusing on high quality preventative care.  Our supportive and compassionate staff has a strong skill set that allows doctors to maximize their time with valued clients and work efficiently. 

The hospital is located in Northern California surrounded by mountains, rivers and lakes with abundant opportunities for outside activities including hiking, kayaking, skiing, mountain biking and boating. Redding has a revitalized downtown with many restaurants and social activities and is just a short drive to Sacramento, Oregon and the beautiful Northern California coast.  Redding offers the unique opportunity to live in affordable housing in the suburbs or rural country setting, but still be a short, stress free drive to the clinic and downtown.

Our hospital currently has two full time veterinarians, but is in need of a full-time or part-time associate veterinarian with ample opportunity for expansion.  We are a non-emergency day practice that allows for a flexible work schedule to provide a healthy work-life balance.  Current hospital hours are Mon-Fri 8 to 5 pm with a possibility of expanding to Saturday hours.  There is no on-call hours or night shifts.
