About Slate Creek Animal Hospital
We are a private/family owned small animal/equine practice in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California. Our practice focuses on establishing relationships with our clients and patients so we can offer very personalized care over the lifetime of our patients. We do not practice corporate medicine. Our veterinarians and technicians use their extensive training and knowledge to practice individualized, common sense medicine. The practice owner is on site most days and works very hard to provide an environment where our staff can thrive both professionally and personally. We are fortunate to have incredible emergency and referral facilities nearby for those tough cases that require a specialist. Balance between professional fulfillment and personal time/family is paramount to us. We work 9-5 Monday through Saturday with no emergency/after hours shifts.
If you are ready to enjoy your career again, leave the burn-out behind, and remember why you became a veterinarian in the first place...then we may be the place for you!
