Keswick Equine Clinic, in Central Virginia, is looking for a knowledgeable, motivated, and outgoing Practice Manager to help lead our busy and growing 3 doctor practice. As a high-volume equine ambulatory practice, we are looking for an individual to manage day-to-day office operations while being flexible and willing to provide veterinary assistant support as needed. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in personnel management, client communication, and veterinary office knowledge. Please email your cover letter and resume to Dr. Rebecca Kramer at rebeccakramer@keswickequineclinic.com Skills and Qualifications -Previous experience in business management (1-3 years of experience preferred, CVPM a plus, but not required) -Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required -Critical thinking and effective decision-making abilities -Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills -Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills -Cornerstone experience a plus, but not required Position Details: Manager Responsibilities -Oversee staffing needs including scheduling, training, conflict resolution, and other HR activities -Oversee service to our clients and patients to assure needs are met in a quality and timely manner -Work collaboratively with veterinarians and staff to implement efficient workflow protocols -Manage equipment upkeep and replacements -Help doctors coordinate vehicle and veterinary box upkeep and maintenance -Accounts receivable -Implement marketing strategies *Bookkeeping is handled by another employee and is not the Practice Manager’s responsibility General office responsibilities -Answer phones and schedule appointments. - Facilitate effective communication between clients and veterinarians. Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities (preferred but not required) *The aim of this hire is to find a Practice Manager who is a great fit.
