Full and Part Time Associate Veterinarians
Texas Litter Control is hiring full and part time Associate Veterinarians at all 3 of our locations – North Houston, Tomball and the Woodlands. Salaries range depending upon experience from $117,000 to $130,000 per year. Our Veterinarians enjoy competitive pay rates and a good work/life balance. TLC offers a robust benefit package which includes paid time off, medical, dental, vision, short- & long-term disability, and a life insurance policy. We also pay dues for licensing with the State of Texas and DEA. Texas Litter Control is a Texas Non Profit Corporation and 501(c)3 public charity. We strive to provide pet care to an under-serviced part of the community. We have a friendly, energetic team who enjoys helping pets and their families. We would welcome a DVM with any level of experience, including recent graduates. TLC offers low cost wellness services to the general public. We also offer expanded healthcare services to income qualified individuals, including digital x-rays, dentals with digital x-rays, and heartworm treatments. We are looking for individuals who want to advance the quality of medicine in the practice and provides exceptional client service to our clients and patients. Our team members have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that keeps us all entertained while we are doing something good for the community. Our Veterinarians get to practice a little full service, a little wellness, a little shelter medicine, and a little community outreach. We have been told it is a refreshing change from the corporate medicine life! Texas Litter Control is a unique organization. While our primary mission is to provide affordable spay/neuter options to the public, we work closely with the municipal shelters to determine the needs within our community. JOB RESPONSABILITIES: Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to and empathizing with their concerns. Performs physical examinations and some minor diagnostic/medical procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort. Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care. Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service. SALARY Full Time $117,000 - $130,000, depending on experience.
