Wayside Animal Hospital is an established and growing small animal practice seeking another Full Time Associate Veterinarian to join our team. We are looking for an experienced, caring, and personable individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and with the ability to work well both alone and as part of the medical team. Our hospital is a well-equipped facility, with Avimark software, digital medical records, digital and dental radiography, dental drill and ultrasonic cleaner, in-house diagnostics, ultra-sound, tonopen, and spacious surgery suite equipped with new surgery and anesthesia monitoring equipment. As a resource, we have a great connection with a mobile Cardiologist who visits our practice on request. We are offering a flexible work schedule with no after-hours emergencies or on-call work. We have a great working relationship with a nearby regional center for ER/Critical care major medical cases as needed. Wayside Animal Hospital is located in Jasper, Georgia, with 2 locations in the beautiful north Georgia mountains. These include hiking trails, mountain and road biking, white-water rafting, kayaking, boating and fishing on nearby lakes and rivers. The area also has good schools, and a local but diverse scene of art, music, theater, and dining. Candidates must have at least 3 years of related work experience, have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, have a current and in good standing veterinary license in the state of Georgia, and be able to perform the duties of an Associate Veterinarian which benefit the welfare of animals and the business |
