The Shelter Veterinarian will play a key role in all medical aspects of animal welfare including diagnosis, treatment, and spay/neuter surgeries. This position will work closely and collaboratively with the Practice Manager to assist in training and supervision of medical staff including certified veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants. This position provides leadership and technical expertise to the medical team and makes recommendations to Direct Animal Care leadership for policy, protocol and decision making.
