Are you wanting to pursue a residency in Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery? Companion Animal Dentistry of Kansas City is looking for a resident to join our practice.
We have a full-time, AVDC approved, 3-year residency training program available at Companion Animal Dentistry of Kansas City. Applicants are required to have completed a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, along with a one-year internship or equivalent experience in small animal practice. The anticipated start date would be July 2021. Our practice is located in upscale suburban Johnson County Kansas with beautiful parks, running trails, community fairs and festivals, and nationally acclaimed schools.
We strive for our team members to have a good work-life balance, while creating a fun and positive residency learning experience. Our specialty referral practice is growing with two veterinary dental specialists and currently two residents. There is a very robust case load, with many of our residents completing their MRCLs in the first 2 years. We have a great support staff of registered veterinary technicians, assistants, and receptionists. We take great effort to select dedicated team members that can uphold our high quality of service, who possess a very personable attitude, and a passion for advancing in veterinary dentistry. We practice dentistry with a focus on high standards, emphasizing patient care, value and integrity of service, and anesthetic safety. We have our main office in Lenexa, while we also see patients at a multi-specialty hospital every other week. Our patients include dogs, cats, ferrets, small mammal pocket pets, with the occasional exotic animal. We are offering a complete benefits package, medical insurance, vision and dental benefits, a 5-day work week. Emergencies are referred to convenient critical care and specialty hospitals. Please send cover letter, CV, and references to Dr. Scott MacGee (firstname.lastname@example.org). Please visit www.kcpetdental.com for more information.
