Seeking An Experienced Telephone Sales Professional
Blue Heron Consulting is seeking a telephone sales professional for a contract role that has the potential to become permanent. This full-time role will support one of Blue Heron’s largest clients, a publicly-traded international company operating in the pet health space.
About the role:
This is a four month contract with the potential for an extension, including the potential for this to become a permanent position.
Salary is $4,000/mo
This is NOT a work from home or remote position. Work will be conducted from an office-based call center.
Management support and training will be provided. As this is a contract role, benefits other than salary will not be a part of the compensation package.

Skills and experience required:
Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office, CRM databases, telephone and video conferencing tools.
Experience with sales, preferably inside sales
An efficient telephone communication style which is persuasive, friendly and deferential to busy professionals who are credentialed while also possessing the ability to gain commitment over the phone.
A strong sales and growth mindset, capable of remaining motivated in a large-volume sales-lead environment
The ability to self-manage administrative tasks such as recording call notes into a CRM database, manage call lists and achieve daily call targets
Enthusiasm for learning and trying new approaches as well as following scripts and call language for which you will be trained.
Prior call center, telemarketing, inside sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
