Our collegial recently remodeled 3 veterinarian practice, Guignard Animal Clinic in Sumter, SC, is looking to hire an experienced veterinarian who is looking for a great team environment and potential buy-in. Our hospital manager is very well organized and handles ‘all the hiccups.’ Our professional cross-trained staff enjoy having fun as well as working hard. Our three veterinarians are experienced and get along well. We discuss cases regularly. We pride ourselves on having each other’s backs. We love what we do and are not just there for a paycheck. There is an ASPCA 2 doors down from the practice; it’s a good one and we have a great relationship with them. We are 35 minutes from Columbia, SC, 1 hour from Lake Santee, and 2 hours from the beach. We would be open to a strong new graduate.

Qualities we are looking for in an associate:
-Ability to connect and have compassion for clients, pets, and staff,
-ability to do simple soft tissue surgeries (spays/neuters, mass removals); if you’d like to do more complex soft tissue surgeries, we can teach you,
-Enjoy working, learning and having fun,
-A good understanding of internal medicine.
