UNC Chapel Hill, Duke University, and Wake Forest Universityare all nearby. We are 3 hours from the beach and 1 1/2 hours from the mountains. Greensboro has an active cycling community with lots of trails and a greenway that runs through the city for cyclists to enjoy. There are multiple lakes for kayakers and boaters.
