The director will be the primary administrative support person and will oversee approximately 40 employees, including multiple Doctors. The facility is a state of the art mixed general/referral practice, with in-house ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and ultrasound. Appointment hours are offered 7 days a week. The Director of Operations will work with dedicated Managers and hospital/store leaders. The candidate must believe in a team concept of management, valuing the opinion of staff and co-managers to create a culture of superior client service and patient care. The candidate must have an above average knowledge of financial statement analysis and be very familiar with all HR compliance regulations. Must be able to multitask, work well with others and work independently if needed
Assisting with the management of staff including kennel, front office HR, and technical section.
Updating and training for all HR compliance
Employee chart maintenance
HR risk management
Staffing efficiency to decrease employee costs
Social media, advertising, and general marketing
Transporting products to and from any of our locations
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge, skills, experience, and abilities in a related field are required.
Proficiency with computer programs similar to excel and work, and ability to learn and effectively apply new computer applications required.
Ability to work independently, as well as forge strong working relationships with others, instilling confidence and trust among fellow staff and external constituents.
Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to balance multiple initiatives and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Forward-thinking in anticipating needs; possession of critical thinking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to proofread and craft external and internal communications as assigned.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations and priorities.
Ability to work in a professional office environment with extensive use of computers, paper correspondence and documents, and phone, providing exceptional customer service.
