Reporting directly to the Hospital Administrator, this position offers an outstanding progressive opportunity for an organized and results driven manager with a strong work ethic, who can effect change management in support of the Hospital’s mission statement and goals. In the capacity of a leadership role model, the Practice Manager must demonstrate professionalism, passion, commitment, emotional intelligence, attentive listening skills and ability to communicate/implement the Hospital’s practices and policies while engaging and empowering the team members.
AMCCC is a busy, rapidly growing Hospital and qualified candidates must enjoy a fast-paced, environment that requires interaction with all shifts. Interested candidates should have at least 5 years experience. The Practice Manager will be responsible for managing the Hospital’s relationship with its employees. They oversee this relationship from the hiring process to current employees to the exit process. In order to manage employee relations, they participate in recruitment and hiring, compensation and benefits, communicating Human Resources policies, conducing exit interviews and ultimately analyzing employee data and make recommendations to management accordingly. The Practice Manager must have the ability to multi-task, juggle multiple work steams, and change gears quickly while setting/managing priorities and providing consistent follow through. He/she uses good judgment to differentiate between major and minor issues relating to the care of the clients, patients and staff while resolving any misdirected emotions or behaviors that may arise from working within a dynamic environment.
