Steele Creek Animal Hospital and Companion Animal Rehabilitation Center in southwest Charlotte is seeking a compassionate, patient/client focused veterinarian to work as part of our team. Candidate should possess the knowledge and desire to practice best medicine. We are looking for the team member who can support our practice in multiple service areas that may include dentistry, ultrasound, acupuncture, rehabilitation, herbal medicine, and surgery. Our current flexible Doctor schedule might accommodate a part-time candidate.
Our hospital is well equipped with dental suite, digital dental and full body radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, therapeutic lasers, water treadmill, and other rehabilitation equipment. Our rehabilitation center has managed in-house and referral cases since 2004.
We are underway with major renovations/expansion of our current hospital to include a rehabilitation center and expanded cat only hospital areas for treatment, hospitalization, and boarding of cats making this an exciting time to expand our staff also.

Located in beautiful Southwest NC, Steele Creek Animal Hospital was founded by Charlotte native Dr. Patricia Young in 1985. Our facility has been committed to providing pets in the Charlotte, Fort Mill, Clover, Lake Wylie, Gastonia, and York County, South Carolina communities with the finest in veterinary care since the day we opened. We provide care for dogs and cats, as well as rabbits, ferrets, and pocket pets. We also provide some husbandry and maintenance care for birds. Our Companion Animal Rehabilitation Services group provides specialized care for pets recovering from neurologic or orthopedic injuries and/or surgery. This innovative care is also helpful for pets dealing with age-related mobility concerns. This service is available for pets outside our practice through referral from their primary care veterinarian or specialist.
