The Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University invites applications for a tenure track or clinical track, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Small Animal Internal Medicine.
The successful candidate will be joining a service of three other internists and will be expected to participate in clinical service, veterinary and graduate student instruction, and collaborative research in support of the academic missions of the College, Department and Veterinary Health Center. Directed clinical service activities include management of referral internal medicine cases, emergencies, and consults within the Veterinary Health Center, as well as mentoring of house officers and students in patient evaluation and management. Teaching responsibilities include instruction of veterinary students, interns, and residents in both clinical rounds and lecture environments.
Salary will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and qualifications. The starting date for the position is negotiable.
The Veterinary Health Center at Kansas State University includes an endoscopy suite and is home to a state of the art radiology facility which includes large and small animal computed and digital radiology, state-of-the-art ultrasound, in-house 16 slice helical CT, and a new 3T Toshiba magnet.
