We are searching for an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to oversee the support operations at two busy, multi-doctor, veterinary hospitals in Minnesota. We are experiencing rapid growth and are looking for a manager to help maintain this trend and manage the day-to-day operations of the clinics. The ideal candidate would be searching for a long-term position and would be well-compensated for their contributions to the sustained growth in gross revenues and net profits. First and foremost, the Veterinary Practice Manager should promote the sustained growth of the business through improved marketing, strategic planning, and identifying areas of new or improved profit centers.
Provide leadership for the support staff
Implement efficient inventory control systems
Recruit, interview, hire, and support hospital staff
Conflict resolution for internal employee matters and complaints from clients
Scheduling of doctors and support staff
Work with CFO to manage Quickbooks® and accounts receivable
Identify and implement new social media programs
Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Thorough understanding of veterinary economics, industry standards, and benchmarks
Ability to lead a large team and support two busy, multi-doctor, veterinary hospitals
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Marketing experience with familiarity of current social media platforms
Proficiency with Microsoft Office® and Quickbooks®
Five or more years of practice management experience
Veterinary Practice Manager Certification preferred
Bachelor’s degree desired
Compensation commensurate with experience, but a well-qualified candidate could expect a starting salary of $55,000 - $65,000 with up to 20% salary bonus based on achievement of practice goals.
