Come join the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science (CVMBS) as a member of the veterinary technician team in beautiful Fort Collins Colorado! The Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital exists to provide exceptional veterinary care and service to the community while educating the next generation of veterinarians at a tertiary level teaching hospital. Critical Care Service provides medical care for small animals on an emergency basis and intensive 24 hour care to patients who are admitted for treatment. Challenge yourself and join our team to provide exceptional patient care while performing state of the art medicine. We support our nurses to be an integral part of the medical team while performing tasks such as triage, administering treatments and medications, communicating with clinicians surrounding patient concerns, performing advanced technical procedures, and providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Nurses are involved in advanced procedures such as dialysis, ventilation, and cardiopulmonary bypass recovery. A positive and hardworking attitude is a must. Critical Care Services is a fast paced environment where excellent communication and teamwork are vital. Applicants should be equally excited to receive training as well as teach.
