We're a small veterinary clinic in Utah owned by 3 local vets and we are looking for the right veterinarian to join our growing team. We are a combo GP and Urgent Care located in a brand new, beautifully remodeled building in Millcreek area of Salt Lake City, Utah. 

We are very proud to be non-corporate and value a great work/life balance while practicing high quality medicine for our patients.

We have a great clientele, experienced support staff, and have a full in-house laboratory, digital radiographs, ultrasound, dental radiographs, and brand new dental equipment and pride ourselves on practicing high-quality medicine at a reasonable cost. We just moved in to a beautiful new location and are so excited to be expanding our team!

A little about us: The Millcreek Veterinary Clinic existed for years as a small animal GP owned by a local vet, and two ER veterinarians decided to leave the corporate world and joined in, adding a new urgent care service. Now, we're open 7 days a week and see a combo of GP clients as well as walk-in urgent care cases.  With years of experience practicing high quality medicine working in 24/7 in corporate ER/specialty clinic , we love being able to provide high-quality medicine and urgent care in the area at a price that is more affordable to our clients than the local ER clinics where we previously worked.

Requirements

We are seeking full-time DVM (12-16 shifts/month), but are also open to part-time position as well for the right candidate. We are open 7 days a week and can offer flexible shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Managing GP appointments and urgent care walk-ins daily.
• Performing routine soft tissue surgeries (spays, neuters, mass removals, etc)
• Performing dental cleanings/extractions
• Experience with emergency soft tissue surgeries (pyometras, foreign bodies) is preferred
