Your Role as an Associate Veterinarian:
We are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian with strong surgical and dental skills to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine and surgery while working closely with our skilled support staff. Since 1993, the team at Belton Veterinary Center has proudly served Belton and the surrounding communities with compassionate, high-quality care. We are dedicated to providing progressive, personalized medical treatment tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Our facility features three exam rooms and two separate entrances - one specifically for our feline patients and one for dogs to help create a calm, stress-free environment for both pets and their owners. We are equipped with diagnostic and treatment technologies, including digital radiography, cold therapy laser, surgical cutting laser, ultrasound, dental equipment, lift tables, in-house Idexx lab equipment, and a full pharmacy area. We take great pride in our experienced, tenured team and the strong, supportive culture we’ve cultivated - making our practice a great place to join for your veterinary career!

Requirements
- Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
- Treat and dress wounds
- Perform surgery on animals
- Test for and vaccinate against diseases
- Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
- Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
- Prescribe medication
- Work closely in collaboration with Team Members to provide high quality care
