Countryside Equine Veterinary Services is growing and looking to add an Associate Veterinarian to our team, with the desire to join a progressive practice that is committed to excellence in both equine veterinary medicine and the client experience to ensure the health and performance of every horse we serve. We offer comprehensive medical, sports medicine, podiatry and wellness services. Our clients represent a wide variety of disciplines that range from high level sport horses and western performance to pleasure, trail and beloved pets.
Currently this is a four doctor practice, which has the support of a DVM intern, and dedicated support staff. Ambulatory wellness is the foundation of our practice, but team members provide routine and advanced medical care, sports medicine and podiatry. We offer a fully stocked ambulatory vehicle and stocked clinic available for haul in procedures. Our facilities include a fully-functional equine hospital with a surgery suite, recovery stalls and in-house laboratory which includes CBC/Chemistry & SAA. We are equipped with the latest ultrasound, endoscope, gastroscope, PRP, IRAP, Pro-stride, Shockwave and digital radiography technologies.
We are looking for a veterinarian who is ready to practice high quality medicine in a collaborative team environment, and also seeks to care for and educate our clients. Compensation is based on production and base salary will be determined with respect to experience. Emergency coverage is shared by all veterinarians. Benefits include fully stocked practice vehicle, AAEP, AVMA and GVMA membership dues paid, health insurance, paid sick/vacation days with a minimum of two weeks, CE is a priority and expenses will be supported by the practice, as well as, malpractice and liability insurance.

Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Eligibility for a Georgia Veterinary State License
Ideal candidate would have completed a 1 year internship and have 1-2 years additional years of experience
Team Player with a Can Do Attitude
Willingness to work a shared on-call/emergency schedule
Experience in Lameness and sport-horse medicine is a plus
