Veterinarian – Part-Time or Full-Time
Columbus, OH | Groveport Canal Animal Hospital & Easton Animal Hospital
Role Description
We are two independently owned small animal hospitals seeking a compassionate and motivated Veterinarian to join our team at Groveport Canal Animal Hospital and/or Easton Animal Hospital. This role can be part-time or full-time depending on your needs.
The position primarily involves seeing appointments, including wellness, preventative care, and sick/urgent care visits. Surgery is not required, but opportunities are available if desired. Schedules include some evening hours and occasional half-day Saturdays. There is no on-call or after-hours requirement.
At both hospitals, we take pride in practicing high-quality, personalized medicine without corporate oversight. Services include:
Preventative medicine & wellness care
Sick/urgent care visits
General surgery & dentistry (with digital dental radiography)
Diagnostics: in-house lab, reference lab, ultrasound, and digital radiography

Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary college
Ohio veterinary license in good standing (or eligibility to obtain)
Strong communication and client education skills
Team-oriented mindset and compassionate approach
Detail-focused, with strong problem-solving skills
Experience in small animal practice preferred, but mentorship is available for new graduates
Recent graduates and those completing their DVM in 2026 are encouraged to apply.
