- Associate Veterinarian - Mississippi-based *Up to $75,000 Sign-On Bonus*
Description
Crossroads Animal Hospital is excited to add you as an Associate Veterinarian! Our team located in Oxford, Mississippi prides themselves on their collaborative culture that integrates a variety of medical and surgical cases (mass removals, ACL repairs, gastropexy, amputations, oral surgery, and more!), while supporting you in your professional aspirations. This position would be a great opportunity for all experience levels.
- AAHA-accredited, multi-doctor practice
- State of the art equipment including cold/therapy laser!
- We block off our schedule for 3 hours midday for lunch and surgeries
- We have shortened Saturday hours (8am–noon), so our team can enjoy their weekends
- Our DVM team selects the days per week they'd like to work. Ranging from 2 - 4.5 days per week, the schedules are adapted to their preferences and lifestyles,
Key Responsibilities
- Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
- Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership
- Grow relationships within the practice and the Oxford community
- Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training program
- Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during our open hours

About Crossroads Animal Hospital
Crossroads Animal Hospital is a spacious 7,400 square foot facility, featuring a beautifully renovated boarding and grooming area. As a full-service, AAHA-accredited and feline-friendly veterinary clinic, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. Our facility includes a dedicated surgery suite and advanced technology such as digital radiographs, ultrasound, surgical laser, endoscopy, acupuncture, and electronic medical records. As a multi-doctor practice with a large support staff, we foster a collaborative and supportive work environment and we pride ourselves on treating our clients like family and their pets, as our own.
Requirements
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program). Active license in good standing to practice in the state of Mississippi (or the ability to obtain a license in that state).
