- 3-Month Contract Veterinarian | Greater Tampa Area | Multi-Doctor Team
Description
Animal Health Center of Land O'Lakes is excited to add you as a Short Term Stay Veterinarian! Our team located in Land O'Lakes prides themselves on their collaborative culture that integrates a variety of medical and surgical cases, while supporting you in your professional aspirations.
This is an ideal role for:
- Full time W2 doctors looking for a location change, a change of pace, or are looking to be reenergized.
- Relief doctors looking for a little more stability without the full time leash.
- Seasoned veterinarians looking to slow down without stepping away – keeping clinical skills sharp while traveling, mentoring younger teams, or finding renewed energy in the profession.
- A doctor who wants flexibility to travel or ability to 'try before you buy' without the leash of a noncompete.
What Makes This Opportunity Special
- Built-In Flexibility: Choose the locations and time periods that work for your life. Whether you want extended breaks between assignments or back-to-back opportunities, we support your timeline.
- Housing, Travel and Onboarding Supported: Travel costs and short-term housing are covered with our monthly stipend. This allows you to focus on what you do best—providing excellent care.
- Strong Compensation & Benefits: Competitive daily rate pay that reflects your experience. No need to set up your own LLC or work through a third party relief agency, you'll be paid as a W2 employee, which can help to simplify your lift during tax season. You're also eligible for benefits like 401k match, pet care discount, and PLIT coverage.
- Clinical Focus, No Admin: Step away from day-to-day management responsibilities and operational logistics. This role is designed for veterinarians who want to practice medicine—not manage spreadsheets.
- Support for Life’s Transitions: Whether you’re easing into retirement, returning to clinical work after time away, or simply exploring a new pace, this role offers the flexibility and support to meet you where you are, professionally and personally.
- Beautiful Hospital: We are a charming, feline friendly hospital equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, and a dedicated surgery suite.
