Paradise Animal Hospital has been providing for pets in Catonsville MD, and the greater Baltimore MD, area for over 25 years. We are currently seeking a full time Associate Veterinarian to offer care to our growing client and referral base.
About the Hospital
Paradise Animal Hospital is a progressive, full-spectrum small animal practice located in Catonsville, MD, close to Baltimore and surrounding cities. We are a team-motivated, client-centric practice with a strong focus on preventative medicine as well as a team approach to cases. In addition to our clinical space, our practice includes an on-site rehabilitation facility that has an underwater treadmill. The rehabilitation program is currently overseen by a Canine Rehabilitation Certified veterinarian. We also have doctors who participate in clinical trials that offer our clients access to cutting-edge treatments for conditions such as osteoarthritis and Mast Cell Tumors.
Our hospital offers both in-house and outside laboratory capabilities (Idexx), digital radiology, excellent surgical monitoring capabilities, and Impromed computer software used throughout the hospital.

DVM or VMD degree from an accredited university
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Maryland
At least 2 years of practice experience
Accomplished surgical and dental skills preferred
Interest in working with exotics
Work with clients to deliver a consistent quality of medical care to our patients
Communicate effectively with both clients and team members
Maintain complete and accurate medical records
Work with the team in a collaborative and positive manner and provide leadership to the technical and client care staff
This position will be comprised of day, evening, and weekend shifts
The Lead Doctor, and the Practice Manager are ultimately responsible for overall hospital operations. This position performs a number of activities related to the delivery of medical care and clinical services such as ensuring the breadth and quality of medical care, cost management, utilization review, and quality assurance. He/she will oversee the activities of the general and specialty doctors, and/or interns and residents, when applicable.
