We are seeking a full-time associate veterinarian for a modern and progressive 5-veterinarian hospital. This position is strictly small animal (dog/cat), although the practice is mixed. If you are tired of corporate medicine or simply looking for a change of pace where you can practice high quality veterinary medicine and take your time to work cases up thoroughly, while living in a gorgeous location, please consider us.
This position is full time, which would be 4.5 days per week: Schedule would be four days per week 8 am - 5 pm and rotating every other Saturday 8 am - 3 pm. No Sundays. No on-call required. One three-day weekend off per month will be worked into the schedule.
Our caseload is a diverse mixture of wellness/preventive, dentistry, surgery, and sick/daytime emergency appointments. We have referral options near by if needed, but perform most care in-house which gives our veterinarians the opportunity to work up and treat a very interesting variety of cases. We do have a radiologist, cardiologist, and orthopedic surgeon who perform some services in house for us.
Despite a semi-rural location, our practice is modern and well equipped with all of the technology that you could hope for. We have computerized medical records (Cornerstone), in-house Heska lab, DR digital x-ray unit, digital dental x-ray, high speed dental unit, multiple anesthesia monitors, fluid pumps, oxygen cage, lactate readers, digital ultrasound, class IV therapeutic K-laser, IRAP, PRP, video endoscopy, wellness plans, and much more.
We are well-staffed with experienced veterinarians, 5 extremely competent CVTs, multiple vet assistants, and a typical 3-1 staffing ratio for our small animal veterinarians. We encourage high quality patient interactions and allow sufficient time for thorough work ups with 30 minute wellness appointments and 45-60 minute sick appointments.
Our clients are the clients that you want to work for! We have wonderful upscale clientele that are caring and compliant. They seek us out because they expect the best care for their animal.
